This Privacy Policy for cliqed.io (“Cliqed,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how and why we access, collect, store, use, and/or share (“process”) your personal information when you use our services (“Services”). The Services include the public website, https://cliqed.io (the "Site"), and the restricted affiliate link monitoring platform (the "Platform") accessible after successful registration.

This policy is intended for all visitors to our website, prospective users, employees, applicants, customers, and partners. By accessing, downloading, or using any portion of the Services, or otherwise providing us with your personal data, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy, and your continued use signifies acceptance of its terms. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you must not use our Services.

Cliqed is the data controller responsible for processing your Personal Data in connection with the Services.

1.2. Scope and Applicability

This policy applies to all visitors to the Site and all registered Customers and their Authorized Users accessing the Platform, regardless of whether they utilize Paid Services or Unpaid Services. The use of the Services is strictly limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to individuals under 18 years of age.

1.3. Material Changes and Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Non-material changes will be communicated by updating the date and will be effective upon posting. If we make material modifications that significantly affect your rights or the way we use your data, we will notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification via email, taking effect thirty (30) days after being posted. We collect three primary categories of Personal Data based on your interaction with the Services: information you voluntarily provide, information collected automatically, and information received from third parties.

2.1. Information You Voluntarily Provide

  • Transaction and Billing Data: If you use Paid Services, we collect necessary details for order fulfillment, including payment method details, transaction IDs, billing address, and purchase history. We utilize secure, off-site third-party payment processors for handling financial information, such as credit card numbers. Cliqed does not keep permanent records of your full credit card information on its servers.
  • Communications Data: Personal Data provided when you contact customer support, fill out forms, respond to surveys, or provide Feedback and testimonials.
  • User Content: Any content, files, or data points you post, upload, or otherwise make available on the Platform.

Data Integrity Requirement: All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services.

  • Device and Usage Data (Log Files): This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but includes device and usage data such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, and location. This data is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
  • Service Interaction Data: Information about how and when you use our Services, which pages of our websites were visited, the order in which they were visited, and which hyperlinks were clicked. The collection of this data is vital for enforcing our Terms of Use, particularly concerning rate limits, excessive usage, and attempts to circumvent subscription requirements, which are prohibited activities.
  • Online Identifiers: We may collect identifiers such as Device ID and Advertising ID.
  • Privacy-Preserving Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized data about site traffic and performance (pageviews, referrers, device types, geographic regions). This tool is cookieless, uses no persistent identifiers, and does not track individual users across sessions. No personal data is stored on your device by this tool. This processing is carried out under our legitimate interests in understanding site performance.
  • Bot and Spam Protection: We use Cloudflare Turnstile on certain forms (such as our contact form) to protect against automated abuse and spam. Turnstile analyzes browser and interaction signals to verify that form submissions originate from a human user. This processing does not use tracking cookies or persistent identifiers and is carried out under our legitimate interests in maintaining the security and integrity of our Services.

2.3. Information from Third Parties

We may combine personal data we receive from you with personal data we obtain from other sources.

  • Social Logins: If you choose to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (e.g., Google or Facebook logins), we will receive certain profile information about you from the social media provider. The profile information received often includes your name, email address, and other information you choose to make public. The information received depends entirely on the settings, permissions, and privacy policy controlled by that third-party service; we recommend you review their policies.
  • Partners and Resellers: We may obtain business contact information, including mailing addresses, job titles, and phone numbers, from authorized resellers, distributors, or marketing partners.
  • Public Sources: We may obtain information from publicly available sources or data providers, such as company information and demographic data, to verify accuracy and enhance our records for sales and marketing outreach.

2.4. Data Regarding Minors and Sensitive Information

In adherence to the Terms of Use, we strictly prohibit the use of the Services by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Furthermore, we do not process sensitive personal information.

4.2. User Controls and Opt-Outs

  • Cookie Consent Management: For all non-essential cookies (Statistics and Marketing), we require your explicit consent prior to placement. We provide a mechanism, typically via a "Manage Cookies" button, allowing users to make granular choices regarding statistical and marketing cookies.
  • Browser Controls: Most web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, restricting necessary (functional) cookies may impair the functionality of the Services

At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

We engage other companies and people (sub-processors) to perform tasks on our behalf to help us provide our Services. This includes providers for cloud hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, IT support, analytics, email communication, bot and spam protection, and authentication.

Cliqed utilizes globally distributed infrastructure (edge locations) and third-party service providers. Consequently, your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed in our facilities and in the facilities of third parties with whom we may share your personal information, in Poland and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, you acknowledge that these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws or other similar laws as comprehensive as those in your country.

VII. DATA RETENTION

We will only keep your Personal Data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

The security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password you use to access the Cliqed Platform and must not share your password with anyone.

You must notify us immediately if you know or suspect that your Personal Data has been lost, stolen, misappropriated, or otherwise compromised, or in case of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your Cliqed account.
