Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy for cliqed.io (“Cliqed,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how and why we access, collect, store, use, and/or share (“process”) your personal information when you use our services (“Services”). The Services include the public website, https://cliqed.io (the "Site"), and the restricted affiliate link monitoring platform (the "Platform") accessible after successful registration.
This policy is intended for all visitors to our website, prospective users, employees, applicants, customers, and partners. By accessing, downloading, or using any portion of the Services, or otherwise providing us with your personal data, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy, and your continued use signifies acceptance of its terms. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you must not use our Services.
I. INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW
1.1. Data Controller
Cliqed is the data controller responsible for processing your Personal Data in connection with the Services.
1.2. Scope and Applicability
This policy applies to all visitors to the Site and all registered Customers and their Authorized Users accessing the Platform, regardless of whether they utilize Paid Services or Unpaid Services. The use of the Services is strictly limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to individuals under 18 years of age.
1.3. Material Changes and Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Non-material changes will be communicated by updating the date and will be effective upon posting. If we make material modifications that significantly affect your rights or the way we use your data, we will notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification via email, taking effect thirty (30) days after being posted. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
II. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect three primary categories of Personal Data based on your interaction with the Services: information you voluntarily provide, information collected automatically, and information received from third parties.
2.1. Information You Voluntarily Provide
We collect personal information that you voluntarily disclose to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about our products, or otherwise contact us.
- Account Registration and Setup: This includes your name, email address, and password.
- Transaction and Billing Data: If you use Paid Services, we collect necessary details for order fulfillment, including payment method details, transaction IDs, billing address, and purchase history. We utilize secure, off-site third-party payment processors for handling financial information, such as credit card numbers. Cliqed does not keep permanent records of your full credit card information on its servers.
- Communications Data: Personal Data provided when you contact customer support, fill out forms, respond to surveys, or provide Feedback and testimonials.
- User Content: Any content, files, or data points you post, upload, or otherwise make available on the Platform.
Data Integrity Requirement: All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
2.2. Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services.
- Device and Usage Data (Log Files): This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but includes device and usage data such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, and location. This data is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
- Service Interaction Data: Information about how and when you use our Services, which pages of our websites were visited, the order in which they were visited, and which hyperlinks were clicked. The collection of this data is vital for enforcing our Terms of Use, particularly concerning rate limits, excessive usage, and attempts to circumvent subscription requirements, which are prohibited activities.
- Online Identifiers: We may collect identifiers such as Device ID and Advertising ID.
- Privacy-Preserving Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized data about site traffic and performance (pageviews, referrers, device types, geographic regions). This tool is cookieless, uses no persistent identifiers, and does not track individual users across sessions. No personal data is stored on your device by this tool. This processing is carried out under our legitimate interests in understanding site performance.
- Bot and Spam Protection: We use Cloudflare Turnstile on certain forms (such as our contact form) to protect against automated abuse and spam. Turnstile analyzes browser and interaction signals to verify that form submissions originate from a human user. This processing does not use tracking cookies or persistent identifiers and is carried out under our legitimate interests in maintaining the security and integrity of our Services.
2.3. Information from Third Parties
We may combine personal data we receive from you with personal data we obtain from other sources.
- Social Logins: If you choose to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (e.g., Google or Facebook logins), we will receive certain profile information about you from the social media provider. The profile information received often includes your name, email address, and other information you choose to make public. The information received depends entirely on the settings, permissions, and privacy policy controlled by that third-party service; we recommend you review their policies.
- Partners and Resellers: We may obtain business contact information, including mailing addresses, job titles, and phone numbers, from authorized resellers, distributors, or marketing partners.
- Public Sources: We may obtain information from publicly available sources or data providers, such as company information and demographic data, to verify accuracy and enhance our records for sales and marketing outreach.
2.4. Data Regarding Minors and Sensitive Information
In adherence to the Terms of Use, we strictly prohibit the use of the Services by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Furthermore, we do not process sensitive personal information.
III. LEGAL BASIS AND HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Under European Data Protection Law, processing Personal Data requires a valid legal basis. Our processing activities are generally justified by Contractual Performance, Legitimate Interests, Legal Obligation, or Consent.
3.1. Contractual Performance
Processing is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or to fulfill pre-contractual obligations to you. This processing includes:
- Service Delivery: Providing and administering the core features of the SaaS platform and delivering requested content.
- Account Operations: Processing for account creation, login authentication, and verification of user eligibility.
- Transactions: Processing payments, fulfilling orders, and handling requests related to the provision of the Service.
3.2. Legitimate Interests
We process data for certain legitimate interests, provided these are balanced against your fundamental rights. Our legitimate interests include:
- Security and Fraud Prevention: Detecting and preventing fraud or criminal activities, ensuring the security of our IT systems and networks, and protecting our rights and property.
- Internal Business Improvement: Conducting internal data analysis, research, audits, and identifying usage trends. This includes analyzing preferences and behavior to improve the Service's functionality and user-friendliness.
- Internal Marketing: If you are a registered user (whether on a free or paid plan), we may use your email address to send you product updates, feature announcements, and information about our Services. This is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a relationship with users who have actively signed up for our platform. You retain the right to opt out of such communications at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every email.
- Profiling for Service Personalization: We analyze usage data, preferences, interests, and behavior to create a "user profile". This profile is used to provide tailored content, service offerings, and shopping recommendations, thereby improving your experience.
Although this profiling is generally non-significant in legal effect, we recognize the importance of user control. Users are granted an explicit right to object to such automated processing, which can be exercised through the dedicated privacy contacts.
3.3. Legal Obligation
We process data to fulfill and comply with applicable laws, provisions, or legal procedures. This includes:
- Mandatory Reporting: Compliance with legal obligations such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements.
- Responding to Authority Requests: Disclosure of information when legally obliged to respond to enforceable official directives, court orders, or requests from public and government authorities.
3.4. Consent
We process data when you have provided explicit consent. This typically applies to:
- Marketing Communications: Sending updates, promotions, and information about new products and services via email or push notification, where required by law.
- Optional Tracking: The use of non-essential cookies, such as statistical and marketing cookies.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.
IV. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We utilize cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to gather information when you interact with our Services. Cookies are small data pieces stored by your browser, enabling our site to recognize your browser on subsequent visits. These technologies serve multiple roles, including maintaining the security of our Services, preventing crashes, fixing bugs, and saving preferences. They are also used for audience measurement, recording certain website behaviors, and optimizing the site's design.
4.1. Classification of Cookies Used
The technologies we employ serve various functions, which fall into three primary categories based on their purpose:
- Functional Cookies (Type A): These cookies are strictly necessary to maintain the security of our Services, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions. Processing data using these cookies is necessary for the performance of the Service itself and generally does not require explicit consent.
- Statistics Cookies (Type B): We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-preserving tool that collects aggregated and anonymized data about site traffic and performance — including pageviews, visitor counts, referrers, device types, and geographic regions. This tool stores no data on your device, uses no persistent identifiers, and does not track individual users across sessions; it therefore does not require your consent.
- Marketing Cookies (Type C): Used for cross-website profiling, personalized advertising, and remarketing. Third parties and service providers use these to tailor advertisements to your interests, which may appear on our Services or other websites.
4.2. User Controls and Opt-Outs
- Cookie Consent Management: For all non-essential cookies (Statistics and Marketing), we require your explicit consent prior to placement. We provide a mechanism, typically via a "Manage Cookies" button, allowing users to make granular choices regarding statistical and marketing cookies.
- Browser Controls: Most web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, restricting necessary (functional) cookies may impair the functionality of the Services
- Do Not Track (DNT): Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
V. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise provide your Personal Data to others, except in order to provide you with the services you request and as further described below, or with your permission or as required by applicable law.
5.1. Service Providers and Sub-Processors
We engage other companies and people (sub-processors) to perform tasks on our behalf to help us provide our Services. This includes providers for cloud hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, IT support, analytics, email communication, bot and spam protection, and authentication.
5.2. Affiliates and Subsidiaries
We may share your information with our affiliates, subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies under common control. This sharing is for administrative, engineering, or support purposes. Any transfer of information to affiliates is governed by an internal data protocol agreement, ensuring the information receives adequate protection equivalent to this Privacy Policy.
5.3. Business Partners and Resellers
We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions, or with authorized resellers/distributors to facilitate the sale of our Services. Please note that when Personal Data is shared with these third parties for their own independent purposes, they act as separate data controllers. We do not control their privacy or security practices and are not responsible for how they handle your information. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third party with whom you choose to engage.
5.4. Legal Requirements and Protection
We may share your Personal Data so that we can comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject, such as regulatory requests, court orders, or enforceable official directives. We may also disclose data to protect and defend our rights or property, enforce our Terms of Service, or act in urgent circumstances to protect your personal safety or that of the public.
5.5. Business Transfers
We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. Your Personal Data will be transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction, and the successor will be required to honor this Privacy Policy.
VI. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Cliqed utilizes globally distributed infrastructure (edge locations) and third-party service providers. Consequently, your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed in our facilities and in the facilities of third parties with whom we may share your personal information, in Poland and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, you acknowledge that these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws or other similar laws as comprehensive as those in your country.
VII. DATA RETENTION
We will only keep your Personal Data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
VIII. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS AND CHOICES
You have rights regarding the Personal Data we process about you. You may exercise these rights by contacting us using our contact form. We may ask for specific information from you to help us confirm your identity before processing your request.
8.1. General Rights Applicable to All Users
- Right of Access (The Right to Know): You have the right to request access to the Personal Data we collect from you, including details about how we have processed it.
- Right to Rectification: You have the right to correct inaccuracies in your Personal Data. You can update this information by logging into your account settings
- Right to Withdraw Consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your Personal Data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal.
8.2. Specific Rights for EEA, UK, and Swiss Residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)
If you are a resident in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you possess additional rights:
- Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the deletion of your Personal Data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or if you withdraw consent and no other legal basis applies.
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller where processing is based on consent or contract.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data based on our legitimate interests, including profiling and direct marketing. We will cease processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
- Right to Restriction of Processing: You may request that we temporarily restrict the processing of your Personal Data, for example, while contesting its accuracy.
- Automated Decision Making: We confirm that the processing of your Personal Data is not solely based on automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
8.3. Specific Rights for US Residents (CCPA and State Laws)
Residents of certain US states may possess additional rights:
- Right to Know/Access: Request specific details about the categories and sources of Personal Information collected about you in the preceding 12 months, and the purposes for its collection and disclosure.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: You have the right to direct us not to "sell" or "share" your Personal Information for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising).
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
8.4. Limitations on Rights
These rights may be limited in some circumstances by applicable law. For example, we may not be able to fully address your request if it is necessary to retain the information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our legal claims, prevent fraud, or if fulfilling the request would impact the duty of confidentiality owed to others.
IX. DATA SECURITY MEASURES
9.1. Our Commitment to Security
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of Personal Data.
9.2. Your Responsibilities
The security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password you use to access the Cliqed Platform and must not share your password with anyone.
You must notify us immediately if you know or suspect that your Personal Data has been lost, stolen, misappropriated, or otherwise compromised, or in case of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your Cliqed account.
9.3. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights or freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authorities in accordance with applicable law. Where legally required, we will provide information about the nature of the breach, the likely consequences, and the measures taken to address it.
